High-Tech
Low-Life

Editorial design

As our modern technology advances, are we losing touch with our basic human instincts?

High-tech, Low-life is the first part in a series of publications exploring the role of technology in our lives and the impact overdependence can have on our human nature. The first issue focuses on social interaction in a data-driven ecosystem and features articles and interpretive pieces which visualise the heavy stream of metadata that we carry with our every movement, interaction and purchase.
The publication body and display are set in humanist serifs Jenson and Larish, while the metadata is set in IBM Plex Mono. The publication is printed on 115gsm Cyclus uncoated stock and the cover is made from neon blue Acrylic.
